From Slope To Sanctuary
The Oakridge backyard sloped toward the house, grew mostly moss, and was avoided after dark. The owners wanted a flat-feeling lawn, privacy planting, and light for evening dinners outside.
Our design regraded the slope into two gentle terraces, wrapped them in low-maintenance beds, laid fresh sod up top, and added warm landscape lighting throughout.

Taming Slope, Shade, And Moss
The slope pushed water toward the foundation while mature trees starved the turf of light. Fighting that with the same grass would have failed again.
We terraced with low stone walls, planted shade-tolerant beds where grass couldn't win, and sodded only the sunniest terrace with a shade-blend mix. Moss hasn't returned in two seasons.
